2024 Summer Cheerleading

June 30 is the deadline for registering for CJS Cheerleading with NO LATE Fee. After June 30, late registrations, IF ALLOWED, will include a $10 late fee. All players must be registered online in order to participate. (Late registrations will end at the discretion of CJS and the coaches so please don't wait.)

We are excited that CJS will sponsor a 5/6 and 7/8 graders Cheerleading Team this summer/fall to cheer for our CJS Tackle Football program. Players must show report card as proof of grade level for Fall 2024. There are birthdate ranges for 5/6 and 7/8. If a player falls into the crossover range, they should register for the grade level they will be in for the Fall 2024.

Players must be registered and paid in order to start practice. Online registration will open June 1, 2024 and end June 30, 2024.

Late registrations (July 1 - 15, 2024) will be accepted ONLY IF there are spaces available on the rosters. A late fee will be assessed if the late registration is approved.

Mandatory parent and player meeting will be held Monday July 8, 5pm at the CMS Track bleachers. Participants will leave the meeting to go to practice.

Practice start July 8 from 5:30 - 7:30 at the Superblock on the south fields. Following the 8th, practices will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays, 5 - 7pm in the big field near the CMS track.

Cheerleaders will be cheering for the CJS Tackle Football, which is in the Junior South Seven leagues.

Games start early August through late September and will be played on Saturdays in Carbondale and surrounding towns. Parents must provide transportation to all games.
