Summer 2025 Wrestling Basics Instructional Clinic

Carbondale Junior Sports is offering a Summer 2025 Wrestling Basics Instructional Clinic during June and July! This program is a fantastic opportunity for boys and girls entering grades 5th–9th in Fall 2025 to develop skills, build confidence, and learn about the dynamic sport of wrestling.

Clinic Details:
📅 Dates: June 22, 29 & July 6, 2025
⏰ Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📍 Location: Carbondale Community High School Gym (Upstairs Wrestling Room)
💵 Cost: $30 per player (includes a clinic shirt!)
👨‍🏫 Head Coach: Jerry Richards, CCHS Wrestling Coach

During the clinic, participants will learn fundamental wrestling techniques such as takedowns, escapes, and pins—essential skills for anyone interested in wrestling. They’ll also gain discipline, strength, and a sense of teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

Spots are limited to 30 participants, so register early! Players should wear athletic clothing, gym shoes, and bring a water bottle.
