Program Purpose:  The purpose of the Carbondale Jr Sports Flag Football program is to give youth the opportunity to learn the basic techniques involved in non-contact football, increase their level of physical fitness and offer them the opportunity to compete with their peers in recreational, flag football.

Flag Football Information:  The equipment, rules and style of play of this program are described in the Carbondale Jr Sports Flag Football rule book on our website, www.carbondalejrsports.net. It is open to boys and girls.  

* Games & practices will be held at the Superblock, 298 South Lewis Lane, Carbondale. 

* Players will receive a shirt TO KEEP. 

* Games will be approximately 1 hour on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and other weekday evenings as   needed. 

* Games begin Sept.17^th  and will end by the first week of November.  Practices will begin in the beginning of September.  You should hear from your coach no later than September 10^th.

* Championship game will hopefully be played at the SIU Football Arena as in previous years.

ONLINE REGISTRATION (credit/debit card) deadline is Tuesday AUG. 27th at 11:59pm with a cost of $50. Please register online if at all possible.  Paper registration forms will also be available at the combine, but the fee will increase to $55.

The COMBINE/TRAINING day will be on Wed. AUG. 28th, from 5 :30– 7pm at the Superblock.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD COMES TO COMBINE and we ask that you stay until your child is finished.
