Bulldogs go 1-2 in Cinco Pool Play

The 10u Motor City Bulldogs began play this weekend at the Cinco de Mayo tournament. They lost the opener as the Ann Arbor A's rallied in the bottom of the 6th. The final score was 5 to 4.

This morning the Bulldogs opened with a 6 to 4 victory over the Michigan Blue Jays Black. In the final pool game they lost 3 - 1 to the Detroit Bees.

The pitching was solid all 3 games but the bats have been quiet. They will have to pick up the hitting to make a run on Sunday. Single elimination play begins on Sunday with quarterfinals at either 9:00 am or 10:45 followed by the semi-finals at 12:30 and the championship at 2:30. We have to wait for many other games to determine our seed and game time.
